Blacktop is an edgy detour for the Melbourne four piece King Canyon.
It’s a 2:19 fast paced thrill ride through layers of thick fuzz and pounding drums, with whispers of Queens of the Stone Age in the verse.
The fearless chorus chant is like a dare to the listener;
“Just try not to sing along, Go on!”

To date the band has released eight singles and recently returned from recording new tracks with Grammy Award winning producer Nick DiDia. Blacktop is the first release from that session.
